The C1 Blended Mobility of VET Learners of the Erasmus+ Project 3D2ACT – Fostering Industry 4.0 and 3D Technologies Through Social Entrepreneurship: An Innovative Programme for a Sustainable Future, took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, between the 13th – 17th of February 2023. The training was organized by Emphasys Centre.
The 3D2ACT project addresses the gap in Industry 4.0 digital competencies around 3D technologies and entrepreneurship. The goal is to improve the skills and knowledge of VET trainers and students, as well as to equip them with the right tools to allow them to enter the industry.
During the training, the participants advance their knowledge of 3D modeling. More specifically they have designed, printed, and assembled different 3D objects to explore more design and printing features.
Moreover, the participants were introduced to the world of Social Entrepreneurship and the Business Model Canvas tool in order to prepare their business ideas and enter the 3D2ACT competition. The purpose of the competition was to help students understand the importance of social value and how their 3D object can be used as a product in a sustainable and social business idea. The training week ended with the business ideas presentation and the award ceremony.
